Smokers at airports, for instance, are confined in a filthy, smoke-filled room while other passengers are free to roam the spacious air terminal grounds. Those in hospitals or schools have to get out of the building just to have their fill of nicotine.
A practical reason to stop smoking is that you'll have more money to spend on more important things. This may seem insignificant to smokers, but if you stop and compute the amount of money you spend on a pack of cigarettes each day, and multiply that by 365 days, you'll be surprised at what you could have saved instead of investing in such a hazardous habit.
We have a lot of reasons to stop smoking but we should also have a lot of ways to carry out smoking cessation. With the support of our friends and family members, quitting won't have to be such a struggle.
